1.Q: What is the function of the star-delta starter cabinet?

   A: Reduce the current when high-power motors start, reduce the impact on the power grid and mechanical  equipment, and extend the life of the  equipment.

       2. Q: What protection does the star-delta starter cabinet need?

           A: Short circuit protection, overload protection, phase loss protection, contactor interlock.

       3. Q: Can the motor be started frequently?

           A: Not recommended! When the contactor is started in star-delta mode, the on-off current is large.

          Frequent operation may cause contact erosion. 

          The  number of starts allowed by the motor must be followed (e.g. ≤2 times/hour).
